Melting Moments

Lovely biscuits perfect with a cup of tea or two!

What you will need to make these...

Baking Tray


Large mixing bowl

Electric Whisk

50g Caster Sugar

75g Butter

1 Egg

1tsp Vanilla Extract

150g Self Raising Flour

Couple of handfuls of Cornflakes

Glacé Cherries

How to make...

  1. Preheat oven to 170°c

  2. Cream together the butter and sugar

  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla

  4. Add the flour and whisk until all combined.

  5. Put a couple of handfuls of cornflakes into a bowl and crush.

  6. Wet your hands, take some of the mixture and form a ball about the size of a large marble.

  7. Roll this round in the cornflakes until coated, then place on a baking tray.

  8. Once you've filled your tray, pop into oven for 15-20 minutes.

  9. As soon as they are done decorate them with half a glacé cherry.

  10. Enjoy! These are best eaten on the day and stored in an air tight container.
