Lovely biscuits perfect with a cup of tea or two!
What you will need to make these...
Large mixing bowl
50g Caster Sugar
1tsp Vanilla Extract
150g Self Raising Flour
Couple of handfuls of Cornflakes
How to make...
Preheat oven to 170°c
Cream together the butter and sugar
Beat in the egg and vanilla
Add the flour and whisk until all combined.
Put a couple of handfuls of cornflakes into a bowl and crush.
Wet your hands, take some of the mixture and form a ball about the size of a large marble.
Roll this round in the cornflakes until coated, then place on a baking tray.
Once you've filled your tray, pop into oven for 15-20 minutes.
As soon as they are done decorate them with half a glacé cherry.
Enjoy! These are best eaten on the day and stored in an air tight container.
