Chocolate Oat Traybake

A sweet, chocolatey, naughty flapjack!

This is a really simple bake, perfect with a cuppa!


All you need is:

Shallow baking tray

Saucepan

225g Butter

175g Light Muscovado Sugar

225g Oats

25g Cocoa Powder

225g Plain Chocolate for the topping


  1. Line your baking tray grease proof paper or grease with a bit of butter.

  2. Preheat your oven to 180°

  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter on a low heat.

  4. Add the sugar and cocoa to the pan and stir well.

  5. Add in the oats and combine.

  6. Press into baking tray and bake for 10-15mins

  7. Leave to cool.

  8. Melt the chocolate and pour over the flapjack.

  9. Leave to cool, cut in to bars and enjoy!
